BBC aims to become 'leaner and simpler' with new round of job cuts
The article talks about how hundred of jobs are being cut due to the £150 million shortfall of funding. It mention the pressure given by the conservative government. The article talks about how times are changing and how they are having to cut back many jobs due to the fact of TV license funding. The payment BBC get is falling short than usual. It mentions how the BBC are trying to protect their other television channels and radio stations which may be at risk soon.

The BBC Trust has approved the corporations plans to get rid of the BBC3 TV channel and make it go nline only which saves the corporation £30 million a year, while disappointing hundreds  of stars and producers who fought against the channel's closure.
